    ABOUT FORT WORTH

    FAMILIES IN CRISIS MINISTRIES

There is a rapidly growing crisis of food-insufficiency and chronic poverty in low-income neighborhoods of Tarrant County. Often, these families lack either the father or the mother in the home, due to a variety of factors, including but not limited to incarceration, deployment, divorce, death, or simply being an absentee parent. This epidemic affects every member of the family as they are left without the stability and positive example that the missing parent can provide.

These families need a stable, long-term support system they can count on. They need encouragement and reassurance that they can do better. They need to know how to do better. Fort Worth Families in Crisis Ministries provides that vital support system for families experiencing crisis and poverty in Tarrant County.

    Our Mission:

To empower and equip struggling families to become secure, complete,

and self-sufficient with Christ as their compass.

    Our Vision:

To glorify God by introducing the least of these to the unfailing love and promises of Jesus Christ, while meeting immediate needs and working toward long-term goals, thereby empowering and equipping them to embrace a brighter Christ-centered future for themselves and their families, as well as their communities.

    Our Focus:

By focusing on the unique strengths and struggles of each person we serve, Fort Worth Families in Crisis Ministries empowers and equips them to take ownership of their lives and work toward achieving their goals, while offering love, hope, and encouragement along the way.
